I had a Samsung B3310 come in this morning stuck in Download Mode.
No obvious hardware problems, so I flashed it. Still the same!
I tried this as a last resort and it worked for me:
1. Remove battery.
2. Refit battery.
3. Hold down * key.
4. Plug in USB cable.
5. Hit On Button.
